Why Train With Me

I'm an NRA-certified firearms instructor with a background in competitive pistol shooting, including USPSA and Steel Challenge matches. I started offering training because too many new gun owners get handed a firearm with no real instruction — and too many experienced shooters plateau without good coaching.

I don't run a storefront. Every session is by appointment, one-on-one or in small groups, at a range that fits your location and skill level. That means more direct attention, flexible scheduling, and training built around your actual goals — not a fixed classroom curriculum.

  • NRA Certified Pistol & Basic Rifle Instructor
  • Competitive shooter — USPSA / IDPA / Steel Challenge
  • Insured and background-checked
  • Serving students statewide, travel available

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to own a firearm to take a course?

No. Loaner firearms and ammunition can be arranged in advance for most courses — just let me know when booking.

Where do sessions take place?

I don't operate a fixed location. Sessions are held at approved, insured shooting ranges chosen based on your location and the course type — classroom-only courses can also be held at a private meeting space.

Is this course enough to get my concealed carry permit?

The Concealed Carry Preparation course is built around common state requirements, but requirements vary by state. I'll confirm what your state requires before your session so the certificate you receive is valid for your application.

Do you offer group or corporate rates?

Yes — small group, family, and corporate training sessions are available. Reach out with your group size and goals for a custom quote.
